Today as we celebrate the life of Betty,
I am thinking of how each person here can feel how she had the ability to touch and bless each of us in an exceptional and personal way!
Betty saw the beauty and value in us sometimes better than we did.
In fact, her abounding motherly love touched more people than her God given family. But raising her children Barbara, Bill and Carol was her most valued role.
Betty found her happiness in her relationships and the activities she had in her life. We celebrate her gift of nursing, domestic arts, nature & travel.
As she entered the gates of Heaven, with Jesus at her side. Jesus lovingly took her into His arms, touched her face so gently and said “Betty you are a good and faithful servant. You loved and cared for so many. Welcome to your eternal Home here in Heaven”
As we celebrate Betty today, I picture her at the at her childhood farm, sitting at a round picnic table with all those she loves I believe not only are there a host of angels singing her praises, but also her beloved husband Fred, her loving parents, grandparents, siblings, nieces & nephews, other family, colleagues, neighbors, patients, classmates and so many friends. But best of all Jesus sitting next to her. Heaven has grown into an even a better place with Saint Betty living there forever. She now continues to love, nurture, and share her kindness with a perfect body with pure love, joy and happiness beyond what we can ever imagine forever!!!!!
May we each take a moment to celebrate her beautiful life!

My love goes out to your family. I will miss my neighbor mom. It won’t be the same without her. Especially every time I look across the street. I see her in her garden.

I met Betty through my best friend Pat Plunkett. We had many wonderful times over the years, but the ones I remember most included a meal at her home. You will be missed Betty. Mary Betz
