Obituary of Claire M. Gulli

Claire M. Gulli, age 87, passed away suddenly on June 11, 2023. She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony J. Gulli, Sr. for 64 years. Born on June 29, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James J. Mooney, Jr. and the late Claire Hoyler Mooney. Claire was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She adored her family. Tony and Claire married on April 22, 1957 and resided in the Juniata Park Section of Philadelphia, where they raised their three children. After Tony's retirement, they moved to Anglesea, NJ, where they made their former vacation home their permanent residence. Claire enjoyed her life at the shore, especially the times she spent with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed their trips to the casino. They enjoyed many happy years there until their move to The Lafayette Redeemer Retirement Community in 2018. Tony passed away on July 11, 2021. She is survived by her loving children; Sharon M. Fisher, Anthony J. Gulli, Jr. and Lisa M. Gulli, dear granddaughters; Brittany M. Fisher, Natalie J. Fisher and Courtney M. Dever; sons-in-law, Rodney Fisher and Joseph M. Schlupp; brothers, James J. Mooney and Rev. Dennis M. Mooney; sister, Maureen C. Maher and by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret J. Giordano. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 17, 2023, St. Mark's Church, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA. Relatives and friends will be received in the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the mass. A reception will follow. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held privately on June 21, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Mark's Parish, 1025 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007 or to St. Hilary of Poitier's Church, 820 Susquehanna Road, Rydal, PA 19046.
