Obituary of Jeffrey Roland Mehrer

Jeffrey R. Mehrer, age 77, a resident of Maple Glen for 47 years, passed away on January 2, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Isabel Auty Mehrer for 49 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the loving son of the late George Gottlob Mehrer and the late Dorothea Mae Young. He graduated from Haverford High School in 1964. Jeffrey was a business owner in the roofing industry for 40 years. He was a member of the Philadelphia Roofing Association and the National Roofing Contractors Association from 1974-2001. He also served in the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania from 1965-1971. Jeffrey was a member of the Upper Dublin Lutheran Church where he served as an usher. He also was a member of the Bucks County Fish and Game Association. Jeffrey enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and gardening. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving sons and their spouses: Todd Andrew and Kivoney Mehrer of Millville, DE and Jonathan William and Rachel Mehrer of Conshohocken, PA; by his sister, Patricia Koehler of Ft. Washington, PA; and by 3 grandchildren: Dymon Diggs, Avi Quinn Mehrer and Grace Elizabeth Mehrer. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Jeffrey Mehrer, and his brother, George William (Mike) Mehrer. Funeral Services will be held privately.
