To the Anders Family, I wish you peace to bring you comfort and courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your heart. Emily was truly an incredible woman full of joy and love! I always look forward to the family visits when I can and being in the presence of Emily always made my visits extra special. I’ve come to love her like another grandmother. There was never a day that goes by that she doesn’t say something to make you laugh and she genuinely cared about how you are doing that day. My favorite moments alway was when it was time for her daily glass of wine and cheese as we would sit and just talk about our day as we wind down and prepare for the next day. It is sure to say that we all will miss her charisma and her positive charm. Sending lots of love of your way. This loss is felt deeply. - Love Jay

My deepest condolences to Barbara and David. Your mom was a wonderful person. In her time at Penn State Abington, I always thought of her as the "mother of the Woodland building". She was always taking care of the faculty in the building. She not only did the job that was expected of her so well, but she went the extra mile and made sure the details were attended. She was our friend and we knew she personally cared about all of us. She was always a good listener when there was a problem, personal or professional. We all missed her so much when she retired!
