Obituary of Walter Van Ness Pruyn

Walter Van Ness Pruyn, Jr. "Van", age 84, a resident of Jenkintown, PA for 71 years, died on November 23, 2021.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Walter Van Ness Pruyn, Sr. and the late Gladys Butler.
He graduated from Ben Franklin High School in 1962 and went on to earn an Associate of Science degree in electric engineering from Spring Garden Institute in 1966.
Van was employed for 34 years as an exhibit engineer at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, from where he retired in 1994.
He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Jenkintown, PA.
He is survived by his nephew and his wife, Eric and Amber Templeton. His sister, Jan Templeton, died in 2002.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
