I was blessed to work closely with Karen and it was a joy. She was a kind, gentle, occasionally irreverent, very funny human being who saved countless animals in her lifetime. May we all strive to live like her.

I am so saddened by the loss of Karen. Karen was the calm in the storm. She was kind, generous and funny. I have many wonderful memories with Karen. She spent some holidays with me, I am grateful we were able to have that time together. One thing really stands out in my mind about Karen, she was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. She was a true friend. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I am very saddened to hear that Karen has left us. I had the pleasure of working with her for several years at Best Friends. I will never forget the night she came over to my house with little Roo, a kitten whose front legs had been severed by a lawnmower. We cried and hugged, while waiting for the Veterinarian to come and stabilize the baby. You left a huge imprint on the world Karen. Thank you for sharing your kindness and compassion with us. You'll be greatly missed.

Deepest condolences to Karen's family. I had the privilege of working with her at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and she was such a kind soul. The cats will be greeting her with head butts and purrs over the Rainbow Bridge.

I was shocked and saddened to hear that Karen has passed. I worked with Karen while at Best Friends Animal Society. She was always helpful, kind and her warmth shined through. Wherever you are Karen I hope you are surrounded by love and your animal friends that you met along your journey.

I had the pleasure of working with Karen at Beat Friends Animal Society in Kanab, UT. I remeber her and her 12 cats! I was so jealous and always said I wanted to have 12 cats too but also knew I couldn't keep the house as clean as she did! She was a special soul and the earth lost another good person.

Karen as I have known her and as many would attest is the most kindest and sweetest being. Unfortunate Loss for all of us who worked with you. It was last quarter I got opportunity to work with Karen. She was really a good humble and gentle person calm and compose with work.
