Obituary of George James Kelly
George James Kelly, age 80, a resident of Jenkintown died on January 27, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Rose Marie (neé Kearns).
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ellsworth and Gertrude Crane Kelly.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving sons and their spouses: George J., Jr. and Lisa Kelly, Patrick J. and Joanne Kelly and Daniel J. and Catherine Kelly, by his dear grandchildren: Abigail, Brendan, Anastasia and Sophia and by his brothers: Thomas Kelly and James Kelly.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 31, 2019, Abington Presbyterian Church, 1082 Old York Road, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Development Office, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140. (www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/philadelphia)
