Obituary of F. Russell Greenspan

F. Russell Greenspan, 92, a resident of West Palm Beach, FL for 16 years, passed away on December 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Diane J. Rudolph Greenspan for 15 years.

Born in Abington, he was the son of the late Perry Greenspan and the late Florence Buchmann. He graduated from Abington High School in 1944 and attended Manor College, Drexel University and Villanova University. Russell served in the Army Air Force from 1944-1946 and was the French Legion of Honor recipient in 2012. He was a real estate investor and developer until his retirement in 1989.

Russell was on the Board of Montgomery County Real Estate, Sons of the American Revolution past President of Philadelphia Continental Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution Founder and First President of the Washington Crossing Chapter and Sons of the American Revolution past Vice-President of the Palm Beach Chapter. He was a 32nd degree Free & Accepted Mason.

Russell enjoyed traveling, genealogy and reading.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Hollyann Fonarow, Leona Cherin, Sherry Mann, F. Russell Greenspan, II and Perry H. Greenspan; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service was held on Thursday, December 13, 2018, Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trustbridge Hospice Foundation, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 (www.trustbridgefoundation.org).
