Obituary of Boyd Marshall Lay
Boyd Marshall, "Bones" age 76, of Richboro, PA and formerly of Philadelphia, PA died on February 24, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Jean (neé Frangipanni) for 56 years.
He was born on March 26, 1941 in Hustonville, KY and raised in Norwood, OH, he was the son of the late Marshall Lay and the late Gertrude Naylor Lay.
He proudly served with the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963.
He is also survived by his loving daughters and their spouses: Lisa M. Lay and Joseph Oldroyd, Tina M. and Donald N. Schlupp and Denise A. and William Kernan, Jr.; by his adored grandchildren; Adam B. Schlupp, Alyssa M. and Derek Williams, Vincent D. Schlupp, Samantha N. Schlupp, Ashley B. Hughes, Jennifer Kernan and Jake Kernan; by his great-grandchildren: Ava Williams and Dante Williams and by his step-father, Robert Troxtle. He was preceded in death by his grandson, George J. Hughes.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 1, 2018, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held privately.
