George W. Lightkep, age 95 of Gwynedd Square died on June 19, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Edith Wright Lightkep. He is also survived by his loving daughters: Gale B. Gray, Sandy Melanson and Wendy Minakowski; by his son-in-law, Bernie Minakowski; by six grandchildren and by five great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 25, 2017, Quakertown United Methodist Church, 1875 Freier Road, Quakertown, PA, where friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment in Hillside Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016 (www.kidney.org)
