I am saddened to hear of the loss of such a great individual. Upon my arrival at Sonepar USA, Harry was among the first to reach out to me, introduce himself and welcome me to Philadelphia. He was a selfless individual, always willing to engage in a conversation, and without fail, flashed a smile as I walked by his cubicle. I will appreciate the short time that I knew Harry and offer my sincere condolences to Kayla and the rest of the family.

Dear Gillin Family - I am a colleague of Gene's who only learned of Harry's ordeal a few weeks ago. As a parent and friend, I was shaken and distressed to learn of the severity of Harry's illness. I know there is nothing I can say or do to lessen your pain as you cope with this incredible loss. Just know that you and Harry are in my thoughts and prayers.
May God bring you comfort and may you find solace in your memories of Harry.

Words can not express how saddened I am by Harry's death. He meant so very much to me. We were co-workers at Penn and I felt very motherly towards him. He called me "moonbeam" and he always made me smile. To put it simply...I loved him.
My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Gilman family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. I will always remember Harry fondly and the many wonderful memories of all our times together in the Alumni Records and Gifts Accounting offices. Harry was so kind and patience! One time an alumni called about updating his information; Harry was so patience with the gentlemen. That gentlemen send Harry a $50 gift certificate for Omaha Steaks. Harry shares his adventures of visiting all fifty states. Harry was a wonderful man! It was a pleasure to seat next to him in the office and meetings. I pray for your peace and comfort as you continue your life journey without our beloved Harry's earthly presence.

You were just an awesome guy Harry, funny, smart and nice. A real triple threat.
I am also going to really miss talking Philly politics with you. You were one of the few people who really understood what was going on in this city and your sense of humor on the matter was also so enjoyable.
Best of luck in your next chapter Harry.

To the Gillin Family; So sorry to hear of the loss of Harry. Our prayer was always for healing and now we pray that Harry is resting in peace and also that your grief will soon be replaced by the happy times that Harry created and shared in each of your lives. And even though we only knew Harry for a short time, the stories you shared assured us that he was a "good man". Prayers continue for the entire family.

So sad for your family that such a bright star was taken from you so early. May his memory always be a blessing to you all, and remember that God has another calling for him. Remember him not sickly, but healthy and we'll.
You will be in my prayers.

To the Gillin Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow and grief, we have been forever blessed to have known Harry , so many wonderful summer days we spent together on the beach, on the porch , lots of music, laughter and food. His presence will always be felt in our shore home. Harry made us all feel special in his eyes with his kind words and gentle spirit. Every time we step on the beach, see a sunset or hear the ocean he will always be there for both of us. Thank you for sharing him with us, he was a gift.
