The Marcolina Family would like to express our deepest sympathies to the Bonds Family.
We are so sorry for your loss.
George was a true friend, an inspiration and a talented Performer. Bruce was honored to be
a member of Georgies' Blues Band for over 20 years.
George once said he'd like to be remembered as a Cowboy and a Singer, He accomplished
that and much more! His memory will live on in the songs he sang, the strength and determination he showed and the Stetson Hat he never left home without:) RIP

We are joyously celebrating Georgie Bonds, the Greatest Blues Musician, of our lifetime! He inspired and encouraged all those with whom he came in contact. Georgie was a very spiritual man and did not allow his physical condition or worldly situations to undermine his spiritually. His Walk was his Talk! His voice would stop you in your tracks if his smile hadn't already! His stage presence was renowned!
He is unforgettable!!!
We are also celebrating Andrew Bonds, Georgie's nephew and protege; the embodiment of Georgie for his generation. As a very young man, Andrew insisted on emulating Georgie down to the vest and derby hat that he wore before he would hit the stage with Georgie! Andrew is a fine young man whom we can expect to be another great Blues musician.
There are other fine musicians in the same generation! "Rosie Bonds", and Charlie Williams who are Andrew's cousins and Georgie's sister, DeeDee's, children are both excelling musically in their genres.
God Bless the entire extended Bonds family: siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and the Blues Family! Georgie continues to love all of us and prays that we will experience the joy that we saw him living!
I have been a part of Georgie's life for 32 years and It has been incredible journey! Georgie continues to teach me and show me a better way as I stumble and I try to navigate through my life. I pray that I can become the loving person that Georgie always personified.
To all whom I have not loved as you were meant to be loved, please accept my sincerest and deepest apologies. I appreciate your love and your patience!
Much Love,
Gina Burnett Georgie's "Shake Dancer" and long time companion
