I am sorry to have just heard of your mother's passing. I never met her but we spoke on the phone a couple of times and I very much wanted to meet her. My name is Gloria Gioia Grimditch, daughter of William H. Grimditch Jr. Originally from Rydal, PA. I believe your mother and I established that we were second cousins, though maybe third cousins, through your grandfather, John Grimditch. My grandfather was originally from Nottingham, England.
In addition to having a maiden name and a family tree in common, I too, was in banking, which I thought gave us another shared interest. [During the last decades of my banking career, I was the resident advisor to various foreign government's Central Banks (e.g. Albania, Ukraine, Republic of Georgia and Iraq ) to advise them on establishing an internationally acceptable banking system.]
As mentioned, I really would have enjoyed meeting with her and exploring other areas of interest. I even tried to contact her earlier this year. I am very sorry for your loss, as I am sure she was much loved and admired. Thank you. Gloria GG
